Next time you check into a hotel you might want to investigate what’s lurking under the bed, as these alarming images show.
Dan Bell, who produces the hotel reviewing YouTube series Another Dirty Room, checked into the Days Inn motel in Gwynn Oak, Maryland, with his team and they were hit by a string of treats.
Exploring their $75 double smoking room they discovered a soiled mattress, ‘disgusting’ yellow-stained pillows and evidence of bed bugs. More bizarrely, they also found an iPad under the sheets.

The device was discarded under the mattress, and the delighted owner was phoned to arrange a pick-up.
Other gems loitering under the bed included a wrapped, unused condom.
Elsewhere in the bedroom, an office chair looked worse for wear, with its faux leather covering peeling off.
The smoke detector was also missing from the wall, as was a strip of carpeting on the floor.

Another Dirty Room investigator Rick Serra was delighted to find that there was no odour in the room and the bed was comfortable
He was less enthralled when he found the smoke detector was missing from the wall
Moving to the bathroom, Another Dirty Room investigator Rick Serra found mould stains on the ceiling above the mirror and smear marks on the toilet seat.
He was even more alarmed when he found a small worm-like creature stuck to the porcelain rim.
Topping things off, the coffee maker appeared to have gunk in its tubes and members of the TV filming crew refused to drink from the apparatus.
But wasn’t all doom and gloom at the Days Inn in Maryland.
Rick commended the strong water pressure in the bathroom and the clean air conditioning unit. There was also no odour in the room and the bed was comfortable.
Dan Bell said before he checked into the Days Inn he found a mix of reviews online.
One guest said they found that their room was ‘clean and comfortable’ but another said her room had an ‘odour of mildew’ while one described it as being a ‘haven for drug dealers’.
The Another Dirty Room team gave the room a three out of 10.
Rick summed it up by calling it ‘minimally satisfactory’.
MailOnline Travel has contacted the motel for a request for comment via telephone and email but is yet to receive a response.
