Jake Paul claims ‘FRAUD’ Conor McGregor has ‘lost it’ ahead of UFC 264 fight with Dustin Poirier

Jake Paul has lashed out at Conor McGregor again by claiming the UFC star has ‘lost it’ and vowed to ‘expose him for the fraud he is’ if he they ever fight.

The YouTuber-turned-boxer believes McGregor is past his best and trying to convince himself he still has the tools to defeat Dustin Poirier ahead of their hugely anticipated trilogy fight at UFC 264 this weekend.

McGregor can win a shot at lightweight champion Charles Oliveira if he avenges January’s defeat to Poirier on Saturday night and insisted he will ‘steamroll’ the American.

But Paul, who relentlessly pursued a boxing match with the Irishman, and even offered him $50million and made crude comments about his wife Dee Devlin in attempts to goad him into a fight, has said McGregor is ‘insecure’ and knows he’s not the fighter he once was.

‘You can tell Conor has lost ‘it’,’ he wrote on social media. ‘He no longer speaks from a place of authenticity and you can tell he’s trying to convince himself of his own lies.

‘He takes offence to everything now; he’s bathing in his own insecurity’s [and] when we fight I will further expose him for the fraud he is.’

The YouTube sensation also posted a picture of McGregor on the canvas after his second fight with Poirier and said: ‘I had my jeweler custom make me a $100,000 dollar diamond necklace of this frame. Reveal tomorrow.’

Paul has fought three times as a professional, beating AnEsonGib, former NBA star Nate Robinson and ex-UFC star Ben Askren all by knockout.

The 24-year-old is currently preparing to take on another former MMA fighter in ex-UFC champion Tyron Woodly on August 28.

Paul has made it clear he is still desperate to fight McGregor and will likely up the ante on his campaign to try and get him in the ring if he loses again this weekend. 

McGregor has largely avoided questions about Paul and his brother Logan, who took on one of his former opponents in Floyd Mayweather in a money-spinning eight round exhibition fight last month, but did refuse to rule out a fight with either sibling this week when asked about the possibility of that happening. 

‘Never say never, if they’re going to keep competing and whatnot, who knows? They’re dingbats, the two of them,’ he said.

Paul, meanwhile, also continued his ongoing feud with UFC president Dana White by again publicly criticising him for under-paying his fighters. 

Writing on social media, he said: ‘Dana White… you may have bullied your way to controlling thousands of fighters careers… but I have never said I want to sign with the UFC… nor will I ever,’ he wrote.

‘Maybe I would consider letting you co-promote one my events against a UFC champion like you did for Conor when he fought Floyd [Mayweather]… because you wouldn’t let Conor actually do it himself without you taking your cut.

‘You live in lies and every major fighter on your roster has complained about pay… Conor, [Jon] Jones, [Jorge] Masvidal, [Nate] Diaz, [Francis] Ngannou. You even make up fake belts to sell tickets instead of giving Amanda Nunes her opportunity to headline..

‘Remember Dana you were a cardio kickboxing instructor and didn’t even create the UFC (Gracie and Davie created it, the Fertittas saved it, and the FIGHTERS made it popular) YOU’RE a bald bum who can’t do an interview now without being asked about me… pay your fighters more!’
