Gwyneth Paltrow has taken on the art of power dressing, and while her luxurious picks for what women should wear to the office are certainly very chic — they don’t come cheap.
The 44-year-old’s lifestyle website, Goop, teamed up with Prada for a ‘Dress Like a Boss’ photo shoot featuring statement separates and plenty of designer duds before showing readers how they can ‘get the look’.
Taking a cue from high-end fashion magazines, Goop curated a list of designer pieces that are just as pricey as the ensembles featured in the editorial spread, including $2,410 Maison Ullens leather culottes and a $5,400 Rolex watch.

Although pale pink leather culottes aren’t exactly the first thing that comes to mind when looking classic pieces that will last a lifetime, Goop insists that customers will ‘wear them constantly, with both heels and flats’.
Fans of the site must agree, as the pants are currently sold out in size small.
And while many would agree that a Rolex watch is a sound investment, the $5,400 price tag for the Datejust style is worth more than some used cars.
In addition to Prada, the list features an array of other designers and labels, including a pair a $645 pair of black trousers by Gwyneth’s longtime friend, designer Stella McCartney.

The front-pleated pants are available for purchase on Goop, and the site notes that the ‘perfectly tailored (and totally sexy) trousers are a true closet workhorse’.
The list also features a $771 menswear-inspired blouse by Atlantique Ascoli and an $883 turtleneck sweater by Lemaire, both of which are made in France.
Although they are far from the most expensive items on the list, blouses and sweaters don’t usually last a lifetime, even with the most gentle of care.
However, there were a few moderately-priced options that won’t break the bank, though they aren’t exactly cheap either.
High and low: For $1,350, Suzanne Kalan’s baguette diamond huggie earrings are definitely a splurge item, while Everlane’s leather oxford shoes are more reasonably priced at $168
Designer duds: The most expensive coat on the list was Prada’s wool trench. The houndstooth check coat featuring leather trim retails for $3,900
Babaton’s white blouse featuring a modern mock neck and statement cuffs retails for only $110, while Everlane’s leather oxford’s retails for $168.
The practical flats are certainly more also reasonably priced when compared to the $1,595 Manolo Blahnick over-the-knee boots that are also featured.
Gwyneth also has her own Goop clothing label, and every month the company roles out a handful of new items that range from $225 pajamas to $595 wool blazers.
Though some of the brand’s pieces were featured in the original shoot, her latest pieces weren’t among the site’s picks.
However, there were items from Prada, including a $3,900 houndstooth wool trench coat featuring leather trim.
