Yvette Jarjoura was at the drive-thru when she heard screams and saw the axe-wielding attacker flee, and said there was an altercation followed by a threat.

‘He [the masked attacker] said, “I’m going to come back for you later”,’ she told Nine News.

It is believed the masked man had a disagreement with the Mr Gamboa earlier in the evening before returning to the Croydon McDonald’s on Paramatta Rd.
