A 40-year-old man was taken to hospital after crashing his car in Melbourne’s south east on Sunday morning.
Police believe the man lost control of his Mazda in Bentleigh East at 1.30am, crashing into and mounting a Holden.
The Holden, driven by a 22-year-old woman, collided with a power pole after being hit by the Mazda.

The Mazda driver suffered serious head injuries and was taken to hospital.
The driver of the Holden was also taken to hospital with a minor leg injury.
