- The English winger is on his way to Manchester United in a £73m transfer

- Dortmund continue their conveyor belt of talent with another young signing
Borussia Dortmund have sealed the signing of PSV’s Donyell Malen, swiftly bagging a replacement for Manchester United-bound Jadon Sancho.
The 21-year-old’s £73m move to Manchester United marks more genius business by the Bundesliga side, but had left a significant hole in their starting line-up.
Malen slots-in perfectly as another young, pacy and prolific forward – penning a deal until 2026 in a reported £26m transfer from Eredivisie side PSV.
The forward arrives from PSV with a fearsome goalscoring reputation in the Dutch first tier
The Dutchman passed his medical at Dortmund’s pre-season training camp in Switzerland before posing in BVB gear, and is ready to join-up with Erling Haaland and Co ahead of the 2021-22 campaign.
‘Borussia Dortmund is a top European club that is always at the top of the Bundesliga and also has high demands on itself in the Champions League,’ Malen told the club website.
‘I can hardly wait to be on the pitch with my new teammates, to be able to measure myself against the best. And of course I’m looking forward to the fans and the stadium that all of Europe raves about.’
BVB chief Michael Zorc added: ‘Donyell is a player with great offensive potential, who exudes goal danger, brings his creativity to the table and has a high speed.’

Dortmund made a £63m profit on Sancho after signing the Englishman four years ago aged 17, and will now aim to turn Malen into another superstar ready to be plucked by the European giants for a bloated fee.
The Dutchman scored 27 goals and provided 10 assists in the Dutch first tier last season, leaving Holland after 116 appearances for PSV.
Malen is a former Arsenal and Ajax academy player, having made 57 appearances for the north Londoners’ development squads.
The forward is another player represented by Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Paul Pogba and Gianluigi Donnarumma’s agent, Mino Raiola, to arrive at Dortmund – following Haaland to the German club.
