- However, they went behind in the second leg against Santa Coloma in Andorra
- But Jamie Murphy immediately responded for the Scottish side in 73rd minute
- Dan Mackay then sealed the victory on Thuesday after converting a rebound
Hibs completed their job against Santa Coloma with extreme ease to secure their progression into the third qualifying round of the Europa Conference League.
Jack Ross’s side sealed a comfortable 3-0 win during a night of mayhem in the first leg against the Andorran outfit, and needed to just keep their heads on Thursday evening to progress.
Hibs had gone behind with just over 20 minutes remaining, but the Scottish side immediately hit back.
Jamie Murphy caught Santa Coloma’s keeper off the line to curl the ball into the net in the 73rd minute before Dan Mackay completed the turnaround on the evening just three minutes later after converting a rebound from close range.
Hibs saw the match out, and secured a 5-1 victory on aggregate against Santa Coloma.
