Actress Katie Holmes, 42, was spotted out and about in NYC on Monday.
The newly-single Hollywood star kept things casual in cropped black sweatshirt, which she had thrown over a pastel pink T-shirt.
Donning a pair of burgundy joggers, Katie walked The Big Apple’s sidewalk in a pair of retro-style grey, white and turquoise trainers in an outing that comes after she ended her romance with Emilio Vitolo Jr.

Katie nailed off-duty chic as she stepped out in the comfortable ensemble which comprised of athleisure wear.
She wore her curly brown tresses in a middle parting and concealed her face behind a protective mask and a pair of sunglasses.
In May, the Batman Begins actress ended her relationship with chef Emilio, who heads the popular Italian–American restaurant Emilio’s Ballato in New York with his father, Emilio Vitolo Sr.
Although she and the restaurateur were nearly inseparable in late 2020 and early 2021, they decided to go their separate ways.

A spokesperson for Katie told Us Weekly that the two had parted ‘amicably’ and were ‘still friends.’
Another insider who spoke to the publication added that their ‘relationship fizzled.’ ‘They figured out they’re better off as friends. There’s no drama that went down with the breakup,’ the source said.
According to them, Katie is now focused on prioritizing her private and professional lives at the moment.
The romance reportedly faded after she left for Connecticut to film her second feature as a director, The Watergate Girl.

According to ET, Katie took a ‘wait and see’ approach to her relationship while she was out of the state filming.
‘Before she left, [Katie and Emilio] were inseparable, but their relationship was existing in a bubble,’ said an insider. ‘Because of the pandemic, she wasn’t jet setting around the country for jobs and he wasn’t tied up every night working at his family’s restaurant.’
But once their regular social lives resumed, the couple found they were not ‘as compatible anymore.’
