Rugby legend Andrew Johns has declared his support for gay marriage in an Instagram post showing him kissing a friend and teammate.
The former NRL player, 43, showed his support for the yes campaign with the old photo of him locking lips with fellow Newcastle Knights player Billy Peden.
‘Two boys from Cessnock will be voting yes. Ha ha sorry Bill,’ he captioned the moment.

The post garnered a slew of responses and more than 3,000 likes, with many people seeing its lighthearted side.
‘I’d kiss the lips off Billy Peden too! #legend,’ one person wrote, while another added that it was ‘the most romantic thing I’ve seen all day’.
Johns was previously married to Catherine Mahoney, with the couple sharing son Louis together.
While Peden has two daughters, Mia and Zoe, with his wife Jodie.

It follows a controversial tweet from Wallabies player Israel Folau last week, declaring he would be voting no, in-line with his Pentecostal Christian faith.
‘I love and respect all people for who they are and their opinions, but personally, I will not support gay marriage,’ he wrote to his 114,000 followers.
The post saw him become the subject of personal attacks, with people telling him it was a ‘selfish view’.
One person wrote: ‘Good rugby player. Bad human being. What a shame.’
While a man, purporting to be a Wallabies fan said: ‘Thanks for f***ing up my ability to cheer for you ya d***head,’ he said.
