Sharon Gaffka reveals that a candid conversation with Faye Winter about her sexuality was cut

Axed Love Islander Sharon Gaffka has revealed that a candid conversation she had with fellow co-star Faye Winter about her sexuality was cut from the show.

Speaking to Metro Online, the civil servant, 25, said that Faye, 26, had asked her if she was bisexual to which she replied: ‘It’s something that I’ve explored but I’ve never been in a relationship with a woman.’

During her time on the show, it was made known in a game that she had previously had a threesome.

Left out: Axed Love Islander Sharon Gaffka, 25, has revealed that a candid conversation she had with fellow Islander Faye Winter, 26, about her sexuality was cut from the show

Sharon, who left the show last month, said that that only scratched the surface of the discussion of modern dating and female confidence on the show, and it is now apparent that the rest of the scenes from the conversation were left out.

‘A lot of the conversations I had about modern dating on the show were never aired, but I was very open about sexuality and being a mixed-race woman in modern dating.’

Going on to discuss the matter further, she admitted that she would return to the villa to partake in a series which is devoted to people who don’t identify as ‘straight’.

This idea has been bounced around with ITV bosses, but they ruled out the possibility of having an LGBTQ+ show, and have previously said: ‘There’s a sort of logistical difficulty, because although Islanders don’t have to be 100% straight, the format must sort of give [the] Islanders an equal choice when coupling up.’

Past contestants who are bisexual include Katie Salmon, Megan Barton Hanson and the late Sophie Gradon.

After confirming the revelation of having three threesomes in a game of Horny Devils was about her, Sharon said at the time: ‘Well I don’t know if I’m supposed to find out if I like girls and boys if I don’t find out for myself.’

Meanwhile, in the Villa, Faye Winter ended her romance with Teddy Soares during Friday’s episode of Love Island after the ‘sexual attraction’ comments he made to former islander Clarisse Julliette were shown on screen during the Movie Challenge.

Faye became heated after hidden clips were aired to the villa, and following a series of explosive rows with islanders including Matthew Macnabb  and Dale Mehmet, the estate agent sat down with Teddy, 26, for one final showdown, in which she told him: ‘It’s so done it’s unreal.’

Elsewhere, on Friday night Jake Cornish’s meddling behaviour in Casa Amor was finally exposed to the main villa.

The islanders continued their night of movie madness, which saw a selection of awkward – and argument-fuelling – clips played out for everyone to watch.

The girls and boys went head-to-head in a pub quiz and in one round, a win for the girls meant they could select the clip The Jake Escape.

Liberty looked shell-shocked as the clip unveiled Jake encouraging the boys in Casa Amor to get to know the new girls, as none of them were ‘officially’ in a relationship.

Teddy told Faye: 'If you don't want to believe that I give a s**t about you… I'm less p**sed off about what you saw, and I'm more p**sed off about the way that you've reacted'

The water engineer egged on Teddy to talk to Clarisse and didn’t think twice about persuading Liam to see where things went with Lillie.

Jake was left red-faced as the clip played out, getting notably wound up.

The girls were left seething – and Faye was quick to slam his fake attitude after branding the girls as his ‘sisters’, all whilst trying to meddle in their relationships.
