Arsenal have reportedly made a bid for Atletico Madrid right back Kieran Trippier.

The Gunners’ interest in Trippier is down to Hector Bellerin’s impending departure, with clubs in Spain as well as Inter Milan and Bayer Leverkusen interested in his signature.

Simeone is said to want Trippier to stay after the former Tottenham full back started 35 games in all competitions last season.

Meanwhile, Eddie Nketiah and Gabriel have suffered injury setbacks heading into the new campaign.
