Sally Obermeder breezy figure at House Of K’Dor launch

She’s the host of Channel Seven afternoon show the Daily Edition and doting mum to daughters Annabelle, six, and Elyssa, nine months.

But it was a solo Sally Obermeder that stepped out for the launch of the new House Of K’Dor store in Sydney’s Double Bay on Monday.

Looking breezy in a simple white frock that flaunted her well sculpted pins, the presenter was joined by a bevvy of celebs at the jewellery brand’s event.

Sally Obermeder cut a summery figure when she stepped out for the launch of the new House of K’Dor store in Sydney’s Double Bay

The summery, bohemian-style dress featured tasseled embellishments at the hem and cuffs.

Sally matched the frock with a pair of brown heels and a small Louis Vuitton clutch.

She decided to dial back the bling for the occasion, opting for just her wedding sparkler and a pair of subtle silver earrings.

Sally finished the ensemble with a light rose shade for her lip  and a subtle application of mascara.

Her shoulder-length brunette locks were left down for the occasion and wafted effortlessly in the Sydney breeze.

Sally looked to be in a cheerful mood at the launch, sporting a cheerful smile and posing playfully with a hand on her hip as she arrived.

The mum-of-two gave birth to Annabelle, conceived via IVF, in October 2011, just one day after Sally was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer.

After a year of chemotherapy, and a double mastectomy, Sally was given the all-clear but was warned that it was too dangerous for her to fall pregnant again.

She recently revealed to Mamamia that her and husband Marcus decided to go down the surrogacy route as they wanted Annabelle to have a brother or sister.

Speaking to the publication, Sally admitted that while the surrogacy experience which produced baby Elyssa was positive, she regretted not being able to financially compensate her American surrogate Rachel.

‘To me, what’s most infuriating is when people say, “I don’t think the surrogate should get paid” and it’s like, really?’ she said.

‘Why don’t you hit up the doctor and ask him is he shouldn’t get paid or the lawyer or the fertility specialist or the embryologist? And the thing is, they do all the work and bear all the risk.’

Australian laws permit only ‘altruistic surrogacy’ meaning no money can change hands.
