Nicole Kidman brings her work home, so to say.

The Australian actress, 50, revealed on Sunday that her daughters Sunday, nine, and Faith, six, have befriended the child stars of the HBO hit Big Little Lies.

Nicole, whose work on the show saw her take home the Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited Series or Movie, even claimed a few of her younger co-stars were watching the televised show with her daughters at their home.

The topic came up when Kidman’s co-star Laura Dern, who won an Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited Series or Movie, toldEntertainment Tonight she was ‘excited to celebrate with all these amazing children’.

Kidman reacted by saying: ‘Some of them are at my house right now!

‘My girls are really good friends with the children in the cast, so three of them are at my house, so they now know that we won!’

The actress, in accepting her honors on Sunday, mentioned her two young daughters with husband Keith Urban while accepting her award.

She said: ‘I have two little girls, Sunday and Faith, and my darling Keith, who I ask to help me pursue this artistic path, and they have to sacrifice so much for it, so this is yours.’

‘I want my little girls to have this on their shelf and to look at it and go, “Every time my momma didn’t put me to bed, it is because of this. I got something.”‘

The red-headed beauty received flak online in not mentioning her two older children with ex-husband Tom Cruise, Isabella and Connor.

Kidman told the television program that Big Little Lies’ massive critical success at Sunday’s Emmys – taking home eight of the 16 awards it was up for – ‘shows women that you can actually create opportunities for yourself’ amid ongoing issues women in show business continue to battle, namely pay inequality and ageism.
