A vegan woman who made headlines after claiming she ate 20 bananas a day during her pregnancy has revealed her two young children follow the same diet.
Loni Jane Anthony, a lifestyle blogger and raw food advocate, describes her veganism as the ‘best decision of my life’ and says her son Rowdy, three, and Polly, one, are also vegan.
‘It feels natural to be able to give my kids the best start in life. Their decision might sway when they’re older … but that’s another path we’ll go down in time,’ she told the Gold Coast Bulletin.

‘Going vegan was hands-down one of the best decisions of my life. I had this new outlook on life to be the best version of myself.’
The mother-of-two chronicles her raw food lifestyle on social media and has been a proud vegan for five years, since switching from a paleo diet.
She says a paleo regime left her ‘constantly sick’ and has never been healthier since switching to a plant-based diet.
‘I picked up dengue fever, parasites, was constantly sick, had adrenal fatigue and acne. I would pick up any sickness and couldn’t get rid of infection, that’s why I originally wanted a naturopath as doctors kept giving me medication,’ Loni Jane said.

The young mother says veganism has made her into a healthier and happier person
The 29-year-old raised eyebrows during her first pregnancy when she proudly admitted to eating 20 bananas every day – both raw and in smoothies.
Her unusual fruit-laden diet drew the ire of many who labelled the young mother ‘irresponsible’ and claimed she was endangering her child.
But Loni Jane was quick to fire back back at her critics, revealing to her followers she is the healthiest she has been since 18.
‘[I have] happily endured two pregnancies and two natural births, late 20s and I feel better than I did at 18,’ she wrote on her Instagram.
Her two children were also introduced to raw food and smoothies at a very young age, both featuring in her social media accounts enjoying vegan treats.
