Lara Trump may have a newborn at home, but that didn’t stop the mother-of-one from watching her father-in-law, President Donald Trump, speak on Tuesday.
Exactly one week after the 34-year-old gave birth to her son, Luke, she accompanied her husband, Eric Trump, to watch his father address the 72nd session of the United Nations General Assembly. The proud parents also took the opportunity to introduce their baby boy to his aunt Ivanka Trump and uncle Jared Kushner while they were in New York City.
Lara, who worked out up until she gave birth to her son, looked incredibly trim in an A-line dress that hugged her stomach and flared out at her hips.

Although most new moms are sleep deprived, Lara looked well-rested at her father-in-law’s high-profile speech.
Lara wore her long blond hair in loose waves that flowed passed her shoulders, and she accessorized her simple, yet elegant, dress with nude heels and a bracelet on her left wrist.
During Trump’s speech, Lara sat between Eric and her her sister-in-law Ivanka’s husband, Jared.
The group was photographed leaving the speech together, and Lara and Ivanka stood next to each other as they exited on separate escalators.

And while it was a busy day for the family, Lara and Eric’s son was able to spend time with his aunt and uncle at Trump Tower.
Daniel Scavino Jr., White House director of social media and an assistant to the president, tweeted a photo of Eric and Lara sitting next to Ivanka and Jared, who was happily holding his new nephew.
Jack Posobiec, a right-wing activist, took to Twitter on Tuesday to share a blurry photo of Lara leaving the UN, writing: ‘Lara Trump had a baby last week and she’s here at UNGA today. Amazing.’
Fitness was a huge part of Lara’s pregnancy, and she shared footage of herself at the gym when she was nearly 10 months pregnant.

‘I knew I needed to workout for my sanity, and I try and make it a daily habit if I can, so I count myself very lucky that I have been able to keep doing that while pregnant,’ she told Daily Mail Online in July.
Lara and Eric welcomed their first child, Eric ‘Luke’ Trump, last Tuesday at 8:50 a.m., and the proud parents have already shared plenty of pictures of their baby boy.
On Sunday, Lara shared an Instagram photo of little Luke sleeping soundly on her shoulder while their rescue dog Ben curled up behind him.
The new mom was fresh-faced and had her blond hair in a messy bun as she enjoyed a sweet moment with her baby boy.
Last week, Lara posted a hilarious picture of Eric looking dumbfounded while perusing the diaper selection at a local CVS.

The new mom was still in the hospital when Eric was shopping for diapers, so the photo may have been taken by a Secret Service agent who was amused by the dad’s confusion.
The picture sees Eric standing in front of the drug store’s diaper selection with his mouth slightly open and his hands in his pocket, as if he doesn’t know where to start.
Sporting typical dad attire, Eric was casually dressed in khaki pants, a half-zip sweater, loafers, and a baseball cap for the evening diaper-run.
After they took Luke home, both Lara and Eric shared a heartwarming snap of their pup Ben sniffing the newborn’s face while the baby boy is asleep on his father’s legs.

Luke is the ninth grandchild for President Trump, and Eric proudly announced the news of his birth on Twitter last Tuesday.
‘@LaraLeaTrump and I are excited to announce the birth of our son, Eric “Luke” Trump at 8:50 this morning,’ he wrote, less than four hours after the newborn’s arrival.
The new father also shared a sweet picture of his son with the world, posting the adorable image alongside his tweet.
In the picture, the tiny newborn appears to be sleeping soundly in his mother’s arms, with just her hospital gown visible in the background.
The image shows the little boy wrapped up snuggly in a blue, pink, and white hospital blanket, with a pink woven cap on his head.
Eric then shared a second picture of his child on Instagram, this time a black-and-white photo which captures himself cradling Luke and dropping a sweet kiss on his forehead.
