Kaley Cuoco and her husband Karl Cook announced on Friday in a joint statement that they have split.
The couple wed in San Diego, California in June 2018 after dating for two years.
‘Despite a deep love and respect for one another, we have realized that our current paths have taken us in opposite directions,’ the Flight Attendant star, 35, and Cook, 30, shared with People.

‘We have both shared so much of our journey publicly so while we would prefer to keep this aspect of our personal life private, we wanted to be forthcoming in our truth together,’ the note continued.
‘There is no anger or animosity, quite the contrary.’
Their statement also said: ‘We have made this decision together through an immense amount of respect and consideration for one another and request that you do the same in understanding that we will not be sharing any additional details or commenting further.’

Her last Instagram post with Karl was from July 4 when they introduced their new dog: ‘When you know you know! Welcome to the family, Larry! He’s a 9 year old ginormous mastiff chunk mutt of love and we are obsessed.’
The bubbly blonde beauty best known for her TV series The Big Bang Theory was wed to Ryan Sweeting from 2013 until 2016.
Before that she was linked to her Bang co-star Johnny Galecki for roughly two years, from 2007 until December 2009.
Kaley has been busy filming the romantic comedy Meet Cute with SNL comedian Pete Davidson. Pete has had some breakup news of his own this summer: he recently split from his girlfriend Phoebe Dynevor.

All seemed to be fine with Kaley and Karl earlier this summer.
In June she said she was ‘sincerely impressed’ with her husband as they marked three years of marriage. The star took to Instagram to celebrate three years of marriage to her Cook, as well as five years since they first began dating.
And in her sweet post, Kaley joked she’s surprised Karl has stayed with her for half a decade.
She wrote: ‘NY, June 30th ,2016 is the year we met. 2 years to the day before we got married and now 3 years married! Why have you stayed married to me for so long?! I’m sincerely impressed @mrtankcook lol I love you oh so much you have no idea …happy anniversary!!!’

Despite marking their third wedding anniversary, the couple only moved in with each other in 2019, after the COVID-19 pandemic forced them to form a bubble.
She said: ‘We’ve been married for a year and a half, been together for almost four years and we now, this quarantine has forced us to actually move in together.’
She said at the time they discovered they ‘like each other’.
Kaley added: ‘It’s been great for our relationship. And we like each other we realized, which is even better.’
But the star admitted they still haven’t unpacked properly. She said: ‘I was shooting in New York and got sent back here, obviously because of everything that was going on, and we got to move into the house together.

‘So we moved in and I can’t find anything. But the house is great. I think Karl would love it if I found my makeup at some point.’
The couple have been spending their time in their new home ‘drinking’ and seeing to the needs of their many animals.
Asked how they had been passing the time in isolation, she said: ‘A lot of drinking and trying to keep the dogs occupied.

‘You know, we don’t have kids, we just have 17,000 animals, so always trying to keep them, you know, occupied and happy.’
In July Cook gifted her a stuffed replica of her late dog Norman. The star lost her beloved pooch in January this year, and said at the time she was suffering ‘earth-shattering, deep, gut-wrenching pain’ after the loss.
The gift made her ‘so happy’. She told People magazine: ‘It was just so sweet and so thoughtful. When I saw it, I was so happy. It brought me so much joy and so many quick memories of my dog. You know, my dog changed my life. People might think it’s creepy, but I love it. It sits on the couch and it literally feels real to me. I will cherish it forever.’
