Megan Marx rose to fame on Richie Strahan’s season of The Bachelor in 2016, before going on to appear on the spin-off series Bachelor in Paradise.
And now the 32-year-old influencer has slammed the show, saying it’s failing in the ratings because it hasn’t kept up with changing times.
Megan labelled the show ‘outdated’ during a now-deleted Q&A on Instagram, and also called out her famous exes, reports New Idea.

Megan was asked if she thought the series was outdated and she said ‘yes’, then hinted this was why its audience was declining.
‘Seeming to be that way, isn’t it?’ she said.
‘I think there’s a problem with casting, for me, which is why we’re not so interested anymore. I certainly haven’t watched the latest Aussie [seasons].’

Megan did say, however, that she’d be watching Brooke Blurton’s season of The Bachelorette, which is set to premiere in the coming months.
Megan also took a dig at her Bachelor star exes, including Jake Ellis and Tiffany Scanlon, saying she regretted some of the people she’d dated.
She made the admission when asked if she had any regrets about doing the shows.

‘For sure, I’ve got loads of regrets. Not necessarily going on the show, but people I dated, the things I did after that I wish I hadn’t done. I think it’s bulls**t when people are like, ”no regrets, I’m amazing,” she said.
Megan had an ill-fated romance with hunky Richie on the show, with her famously falling in love with buxom blonde co-star, Tiffany Scanlon.
They made international headlines as the first same-sex couple to emerge from the dating show franchise, but split after nine months together.

At the time, Tiffany claimed the media interest was one reason for the split, writing on her blog: ‘The time I paid the price for fame. Was it worth it? Probably not.’
In December last year, Megan confirmed her split from Jake Ellis after a rocky romance.
‘We have been broken up for quite a while now. I’m good, I’m happy. I’m living life,’ she told The Courier Mail at the time.
The pair met on the first season of Bachelor In Paradise in 2018 and dated for almost 18 months.

The pair briefly reconciled in August last year, after Jake dramatically quit Bachelor In Paradise during a rose ceremony to try and win Megan back.
‘I did find love [in Paradise last time] and, if anything, this experience has taught me that I’m still in love,’ he told his co-stars during the emotionally-charged scene.
‘I’m gonna take a chance, I’m gonna go fight for what I love and who I’m in love with.’
Megan is now dating boyfriend Keith Newman and the pair debuted their romance in January this year.
