Hit miniseries Big Little Lies may be returning for season two.
In what is no doubt a thrill for fans, its Australian producer, Bruna Papandrea, told News Corp it’s a possibility.
‘I’m not done with these women yet’, Bruna, 46, revealed, talking about the strong female characters portrayed by actresses including Nicole Kidman, 50, and Reese Witherspoon, 41.

She added: ‘I would love it, nothing would make me happier.’
‘We’re definitely talking about it and there’s a process but I’m really hopeful.’
At the Emmys this week, the show picked up eight awards, with Nicole winning an Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress.

Taking the stage, the 50-year-old said: ‘Sometimes when you’re acting, you get a chance to bring a bigger message. We shone a light on domestic abuse,’ Nicole said, playing a woman abused by her husband on the show.
‘It is a complicated, insidious disease, and it exists far more than we allow ourselves to know,’ she continued.
She continued: ‘It is filled with shame and secrecy, and by you acknowledging me with this award, it shines a light on it even more. So thank you, thank you, thank you.’

Meanwhile, Big Little Lies author Liane Moriarty said she was thinking of writing a second book, after the first book was adapted for season one.
She hinted the show will have a second season.
Popsugar reports Liane said at the Emmys: “Right now, it’s a beautiful possibility.”
