Robert Reagan, the man found guilty of murdering his celebrity TV attorney girlfriend Loredana Nesci, received a life sentence behind bars for the 2015 Redondo Beach slaying.
The 53-year-old ex-Hugo Boss supermodel will have the option for parole after he serves 16 years in prison, Los Angeles County prosecutors said Tuesday.
Reagan broke down in tears during last month’s court hearing after the guilty verdict was announced for the July 2015 stabbing of the 47-year-old ‘Loredana, Esq.’ actress.
Nesci’s distraught father revealed in Torrance Superior Court Tuesday the news of his daughter’s killing ‘destroyed’ the family — who will ‘never’ be the same.

‘All of a sudden, in the dark of the night, everything was stolen from her and from all of us,’ John Nesci said in the statement.
Reagan’s attorney, Shephard Kopp, claimed his client acted in self-defense during the fatal knife attack that took place inside the couple’s California home.
Kopp said Nesci, a bodybuilder and former fitness competitor, attacked her boyfriend with a hunting knife during an argument.
‘She was an avid bodybuilder, and was exceptionally strong. She attacked Robert with a hunting knife in the midst of a domestic dispute,’ he said.
‘While defending himself against her assault with a deadly weapon, [Reagan] tried to disarm her, and in the intense struggle that ensued she tragically suffered a fatal wound,’ Kopp said, according to Variety.
‘[Reagan] is not guilty of committing any criminal offense, he is devastated by this horrible event.’
According to reports at the time, Reagan was ‘distraught’ when he called 911 on the morning of July 22, 2015. Reagan was arrested after officers discovered his former girlfriend’s body. The two had a five-year-old son, Rocco Nesci-Reagan, who was not at home at the time of the incident, police said

A friend of the prominent pair and real estate broker, Todd Bernstein, told the Daily Mail Reagan was ‘a sweet guy’ who was ‘intimidated by Loredana,’ which surprised him the most.
‘While it’s sad she’s not with us any more, she was bossy, bitchy, dangerous, a real piece of work,’ Bernstein said in the shocking interview.
‘She was also a tactical fighter, she trained, she kick boxed, she used to be a cop … Yes they were in love, but he was afraid of her, he told me as much.’
The Hugo Boss hunk claimed his ex-reality star sweetheart treated him horribly, while Bernstein said she once got aggressive and pushy over the phone with him while discussing a real estate deal.
‘I did a real estate deal through Loredana and she was really short with me on the phone, aggressive, she was like, ‘are you gonna sell the f***ing house or what’,’ Bernstein said.

‘Robert was always real accommodating … he helped me a lot. He said to me, ‘Listen, Loredana’s really smart, but you’ve got to talk to her a certain way’, I quickly found out what he was talking about.’
A distraught Reagan phoned 911 following the July 22 killing.
He was immediately arrested after police officers found Nesci’s body at the home.
It seems Nesci’s killer model beau was battling financial problems amid the couple’s discussion of a possible split.
‘He loved her and was stuffed because he didn’t have a lot of money,’ said Bernstein.
The couple have a son, Rocco Nesci-Reagan, who was five years old at the time and outside the home when the murder took place.
Nesci’s LegalDiva website, which has since been shut down, said the actress worked as a Los Angeles cop prior to embarking on a successful on screen career.
The handsome convicted killer worked for a variety of high end advertising campaigns for other likes such as Armani, Ralph Lauren and Calvin Klein in the 1980’s.
