Angela Bassett finally met someone who looked as fabulous as her. It just so happened to be a statue of herself.
The actress, 63, attended the unveiling of her own wax statue at Madame Tussauds Hollywood this month.
The star’s statue unveiling capped off a week marked by new additions to the museum’s gallery including waxworks of Jennifer Hudson and Tiffany Haddish.

The real life actress wore a long pink romper and matching pink shoes.
The statue was dressed in a jumpsuit covered in sequins made by Greta Constantine and shoes by Casadei.

It took five weeks for all of the hairs on the statue’s head to go in because they had to be put in individually and by hand.
The Black Panther actress earned her way into the wax museum by playing a number of iconic characters over the years.
