Delta Goodrem surprises The Block contestants as she makes a special appearance ahead of their challenge

The Block contestants have been hard at work on both their homes and their Lip Sync battle performances for one of the show’s challenges.

And on Tuesday, Delta Goodrem made a surprise appearance on the hit renovation series to check in with the couples and give them tips.

Contestants Tanya and Vito Guccione were taken aback when the pop star came knocking on their door, alongside co-host Shelley Craft.

‘I’m screaming, Vito’s fangirling like a little girl,’ Tanya recalled of the moment.

Delta then made her way to nearby Ronnie and Georgia who were equally ecstatic to meet the Born to Try hitmaker and get her advice.

Georgia was starstruck by the singer’s presence on their building site, while her husband was quick to get down to business and show off his dance moves for their performance of Chandelier by Sia.

Delta and Shelley then stopped by Mitch and Mark, who were feeling anxious about taking to the stage with their take on Wham’s Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go.

Mitch was particularly anxious following their lip sync performance of Beyoncé’s Single Ladies in 2019, in which he forgot the lyrics.

‘This is redemption, this is your moment,’ Delta cheered.
