One of the first topics discussed was phone restriction and whether the contestants are allowed to use their devices in the mansions.

‘No they are not,’ revealed the 43-year-old.

‘They get an hour to phone home to speak to their family.

‘But we do it so they keep focused and their eye on the prize,’ clarified Osher.

Next up was alcohol restriction where Osher told his co-hosts that the men were only allowed booze during cocktail parties and not throughout the day.

Osher also revealed that the contestants are subject to blood test and a full medical.

‘There’s a duty of care involved,’ confirmed Osher.

Lengthy rose ceremonies are also part and parcel of living life as a contestant on the show.

‘Sometimes I would finish shooting just before I come to the radio show at 5am just so we had the right light,’ added Osher.

Insiders have previously revealed to Daily Mail Australia that the living conditions on The Bachelor endured by contestants were ‘terrible’, revealing that the girls were forced to sleep on uncomfortable single bunk-beds.

The insider also revealed that the contestants’ food supply was ‘restricted’ while filming because production staff went over their food budget early in the competition.

Meanwhile, another claimed that coffee pods were also rationed in the mansion, despite the fact that contestants were pressured to appear awake and lively when filming late into the night.

‘After a rose ceremony, the girls were told to get changed into their pyjamas and rub off their makeup so they could pretend they were waking up on a different day for a new episode,’ they explained.
