Friends star Courteney Cox serves coffee to the fans at Central Perk on Warner Bros lot

I’ll be there for brew! Courteney Cox pulls a shift at iconic Friends cafe Central Perk as she serves coffee to shocked fans at the Warner Bros lot

She spent endless hours shooting as Monica Geller in iconic coffee house, Central Perk, during her time on hit sitcom Friends.

And despite never working in the cafe unlike some of her co-stars’ characters, Courtney Cox finally pulled a shift at the cafe and served up coffee to customers.

The actress, 57, returned to the Central Perk cafe set from the sitcom on the Warner Bros lot this week – much to the delight of guests.

Courtney appeared at various spots on the lot throughout the day for a gag video montage on her Instagram page.

Over the course of her escapades she made sure to stop off at Central Perk where she could be seen bringing coffee around to guests.

Whilst she was at Central Perk she did not even have a mask on – meaning she was perfectly recognizable to the fans.

However while she was at the ticketing booth allowing a car to enter the lot she was masked and her face was impossible to discern.

She went through the full process of giving a guest a visitor pass and allowing the automobile past the gate without being recognized.

With her face visible she could also at one point be glimpsed ringing up customers at what appeared to be the lot gift shop.

Courteney apparently managed not to be recognized by one customer there either – in spite of the fact that Friends was playing on a TV screen behind her.

However another customer got wise and Courteney smiled as she obliged him for a selfie from behind the counter.

‘When I’m not acting… #inbetweenthescenes,’ she wrote in her caption, throwing in the Dolly Parton theme song for 9 To 5 as the soundtrack.

Friends nostalgia hit a high point this year when the entire main cast gathered together for a reunion special earlier this year.

Courtney rejoined with her co-stars Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, Matthew Perry, David Schwimmer and Matt LeBlanc for the HBO Max extravaganza.

Early in the special Courteney was brought to tears as she and her old castmates wandered around the set of her character Monica’s apartment.

All six of them were catapulted to global stardom by the runaway success of the original series which ran on NBC from 1994 until 2004.
