Mia Fevola looks downcast as she picks up coffees after split with her Jamarra Ugle-Hagan

She recently returned Instagram after taking a little time off following her split with AFL player Jamarra Ugle-Hagan last week.

And on Thursday, Mia Fevola was seen in public for the first time since the sad news of their break-up.

The 21-year-old model and social media influencer looked downcast as she waited to pick up a food and coffee order at a café in Sorrento, on the Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula, where her family is currently based.

She teamed her look with Nike Air Force 1 sneakers and donned a protective face mask.

After paying for her order, she made her way back to the family car to head home.

Alongside that she captioned her post: ‘Pick yourself up and keep going.’

Her inspirational post follows a report that Mia and Jamarra split as a result of ‘pressure’ on their fledgling romance.

A source told The Herald Sun there was ‘too much pressure’ on the young couple, who had been dating for 12 months.

While headlines have focused on the young lovebirds’ break-up, Mia’s mother Alex Fevola drew attention to her daughter’s professional achievements.

She launched her clothing brand MALLT Collective last year and also consults for her mum’s cosmetics brand, Runway Room.

‘I am so proud of her, she really surprises me with her capabilities,’ Alex said.

Mia announced her split from Jamarra on Instagram last Thursday, and also deleted all pictures of the footy star from her account.

‘Thank you to everyone for all the photos and messages,’ she wrote.

‘Jamarra and I have now gone our separate ways. I appreciate your messages and thank you for respecting my privacy.’

Mia had debuted her relationship with the skilled key forward in March, but it’s believed they’d been dating for about six months before that.

Jamarra has already been dubbed ‘Buddy Franklin 2.0’ for being the first Indigenous player to be taken at pick one since Des Headland in 1998.

He is also the first Bulldog to top the AFL draft since Brownlow Medallist Adam Cooney had his name called out first in 2003.

Mia’s stepfather, AFL great Brendan Fevola, previously praised Jamarra during a radio interview.

In a June interview with Triple M Footy, the 40-year-old said of the young player: ‘He does the dishes, he washes, he does everything, he’s amazing.

‘He’s got some strings to his bow, I’ve got to give it to him. Good kid.’
