Donald Trump has lost up to 25 pounds and is much happier since leaving the White House earlier this year, Jason Miller revealed in a Sunday interview.

The former Trump aide attributed the better health to ‘not having the kitchen there 24/7’ as well as ‘a little bit of golf and a whole lot of endorsement.’

Miller told British TV channel GB News in a Sunday interview that the former president is ‘tanned,’ ‘rested’ and ‘a lot happier,’ based on his conversations with Trump on his well-being during a recent visit to Florida.

Presidents always have food on command out of the White House kitchen.

A former pastry chef who worked there from 2006-2014 said last year, according to a 2020 report, that the team was always on standby.

‘In theory, we were working 24/7,’ Bill Yosses told the Huffington Post at the time.

Trump left the White House on January 20, 2021 without conceding the 2020 presidential election to Joe Biden.

After leaving the White House, Miller served as Trump’s spokesperson.

He left the former president’s team in June to take over full time as CEO of new tech company Gettr, which is meant as a no-censorship alternative to Twitter after Trump was booted from the platform following the January 6 Capitol riot.

After stepping down, Liz Harrington took over for Miller.

Despite no longer having 24/7 access to Trump, Miller said that the former president has lost somewhere between 20-25 pounds now that he doesn’t have the White House kitchen at his disposal all day, every day.

A routine presidential physical exam of Trump in June 2020 showed that he weighed 244 pounds, which is over the threshold for obesity at his height.

Trump has often spoken about his love of sweets and junk food – particularly McDonalds.

He also famously had a button at the Resolute Desk which when pushed would summon someone to bring him a Diet Coke.
