Days of Our Lives star Deidre Hall uses holy water before shooting scenes with demonic possession
Days of Our Lives’ star Deidre Hall has revealed she blesses herself with holy water before doing any scenes involving demonic encounters.
The daytime diva, 73, admitted she goes to great lengths to make sure she doesn’t end up like her character Dr. Marlena Evans, who was possessed by the devil in the 90s and will again come under Satan’s control during season 56.
‘When we embarked on the storyline, our executive producer and showrunner, Ken Corday, actually sent over holy water and a crucifix,’ Hall explained during a visit to the Kelly Clarkson Show.

The actress has been with Days Of Our Lives as Dr. Evans since 1976, rotating in and out of the cast through the years.
