Kylie Jenner always wanted to be a young mom

On Friday, it was revealed Kylie Jenner is expecting her first child with boyfriend Travis Scott, 25, who she was first linked to in April.

And while fans of the 20-year-old reality star are still reeling from the bombshell news, Kylie has always been vocal about her desire to start a family at a young age.

‘I don’t want to start [having] a baby when I’m 30! I don’t believe in after 30 – I don’t know,’ she told Paper magazine in April 2016.

When reminded her sisters Kourtney, 38, and Kim Kardashian, 36, didn’t start their families until after 30, Kylie insisted they would have had children sooner.

‘They all wanted to have kids before. Kim was like, “I better have two kids before 30.” She always said that,’ she added.

She echoed this sentiment during a candid discussion with her dad, Caitlyn Jenner, during a January 2016 episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians

‘I feel like 30 is too late,’ Kylie said of having kids, as reported by ET Online.

At the time, the young reality star said she considered 25 a good age to start a family.

And while she definitely wanted to get a head start on her sisters, just last year, Kylie confessed she wasn’t planning on starting a family anytime soon.

‘I’m getting a lot of questions about kids – how many kids I want, do I want kids? I do want kids, but not now,’ she said via Snapchat in October last year, as reported by the Mirror.

In 2015, she admitted to wanting children ’10 years from now’, saying she wanted daughters.

‘Having sisters is the best. I have a different relationship with each of them. I go to Kim for fashion advice, Khloe is always boy and family advice, and Kourtney is like another mother to me,’ she told Teen Vogue in May 2015.

And with motherhood now just around the corner for her, the successful businesswoman says she may be ready to step out of the limelight.

‘I would love to have a family and build a home with a farm in Malibu Canyon and just have my kids and throw away my phone, and just really, like, live my life and not do this anymore,’ she told ELLE magazine in December 2015, as reported by The Hollywood Gossip.
