Salim Mehajer mocks Pauline Hanson with shooting range vid

Controversial former major, Salim Mehajer, has slammed One Nation leader Pauline Hanson after she shared a video of herself at a shooting range.

The embattled ex-politician has mocked the party leader in an Instagram clip of himself at a shooting range on Saturday.

Mr Mehajer captioned the video ‘When Pauline Hanson holds a pistol it’s called a “sport”. What will it be called when I hold one?’

The swipe comes just one day since Ms Hanson proudly displayed her firing skills at the North Arm Pistol Club in Queensland.

Mr Mehajer also posted two screen shots of Ms Hanson at the Queensland shooting range alongside the video of himself.

In a video posted to Facebook on Friday, Ms Hanson said: ‘Well I’ve had the best day I’ve had for about 20 years.’

Boasting she had good aim, Ms Hanson said ‘you know what, don’t mess with me. Make my day if you want to have a go’.

Ms Hanson announced this week she would lobby for Queensland police to have greater access to their firearms.

Mr Mehajer is no stranger to the police himself, having been slapped with an Apprehended Violence Order in July last year on behalf of his estranged wife, Aysha Learmonth.

The former deputy mayor of Auburn was again hit with another AVO from Ms Learmonth this year, after she was bombarded with more than 400 emails from the controversial property developer since they separated.

‘These emails make me feel on edge and like I’m being stalked,’ Ms Learmonth said in a July statement.

‘I’m looking over my shoulder constantly and do not know what he is capable of.’

Mehajer and Ms Learmonth were married in the ‘wedding of the century’ in August 2015 – which launched the politician into the spotlight.

An exposé by A Current Affair in 2016 revealed a series of videos of Mr Mehajer making threats of sexual violence and wishing death upon someone.

A reporter for the program called the videos the ‘most confronting’ she had seen in her eight years working there.

The vicious video message was allegedly sent Salim’s estranged wife Aysha, 7News reports, and were filmed after he ‘snapped’ under media pressure.

Mehajer is seen screaming at a camera, yelling ‘I hope you die you f***** ****’.

‘You’ve got five minutes to give me a call,’ he howls at a camera with such intensity his voice cracks.
