A cheeky Queensland driver has been shamed after being caught parking across two disabled bays.
In an image shared online by Reddit user FisherMat on Sunday, a man can be seen casually seated in a silver Toyota utility as his car straddles the disabled spaces.
The person who uploaded the picture stated that the man had used the space while his friend went into the shops, moving only when he had returned.
The post ignited a fierce debate among social media users, with many uncertain over whether the man was in the wrong.

Some users argued that the parking lot was nearly empty and that the man was still inside the vehicle so could move if required.
‘He may have been more willing to move if all the other disabled spots were taken and someone else needed one of his parks,’ one person wrote.
They added: ‘Judging by the photo, things weren’t very busy and his parking didn’t seem to inconvenience anyone.’
But the Reddit user replied that he had approached the man to ask him ‘politely to move,’ and he had refused.
‘It’s an offence to park there… You have no idea how frustrating it is when these spots are abused’ they wrote.
‘I don’t like dobbing either but in this case it’s warranted based on his response when asked to move.’

Others agreed with the frustrated user, wondering how the man would fare if he had to ‘walk in those shoes, even just for a day’.
‘The availability of these spots can meant the difference between being able to go do what you have to, or return home. I s*** you not. They are vital to some,’ one angered person wrote.
Another user added: ‘You’re kidding right? This guy has a license and did tests and yet cannot be bothered to park his car within the lines.’
It is unknown whether the man had a disabled parking permit, which the Queensland Government states must be clearly displayed and visible from the outside of the vehicle.
Failure to follow permit conditions or misuse of a disability parking space can result in a fine.
The image is believed to have been sent to the Queensland Police Service.
