A man has reportedly been killed with a bow and arrow in Dundee.
Witnesses claim a man was left ‘covered in blood’ following the incident last night.
A police cordon is in place and forensic officers are currently searching for clues.
Several police vehicles, including a command unit, remain on the scene.
Around 10 police cars and a forensics unit arrived on the road after neighbours called emergency services
Witnesses said they saw a man ‘covered in blood’ after he was shot with a bow and arrow. One revealed blood could be seen on a front door.
They raised the alarm after hearing cries for help at around 10.30pm yesterday.
Shopkeeper Shahid Mohammed told the Dundee Courier: ‘Customers say someone has been murdered with a bow and arrow.’
Police Scotland told MailOnline no one has yet been arrested.
A spokesman for Police Scotland said: ‘We can confirm that a man has died following a disturbance at Dundonald Court in Dundee yesterday at around 11.45pm.
‘The death is being treated as suspicious and officers are following a positive line of inquiry.
‘No further details will be released until formal identification has taken place. Next of kin have been informed.’
