And Gary Ablett Jr.’s wife Jordan certainly did her best to cement her status at the Brownlow Medal count, held at Melbourne’s Crown Casino on Monday night.
The brunette flashed the flesh in a taupe-coloured gown that was slashed to the thigh to show off her tanned and toned legs.

But the attire was unusual, thanks to its bandage-style fabric and button detail across the train of the skirt.
It also featured a tulle underskirt, adding even more confusion to the ensemble.
Jordan committed the cardinal fashion sin by matching her shoes to her gown, slipping on a pair of satin stilettos.
This is the second time Jordan has turned heads on the red carpet at the Brownlow Medal count.
Last year she left very little to the imagination in a racy red dress, putting her on the worst dressed list.
Despite donning a J’Aton Couture gown, the Gladiator-inspired red dress was not such a killer look, especially when the double slit skirt was paired with odd black thigh-high boots.
The designer gown sported an on-trend choker neck-tie before the plunging neckline descended towards Jordan’s navel, offering a generous glimpse of her cleavage and toned torso.
Gary and Jordan tied the knot in January last year.
The couple made their Brownlows debut shortly after they began dating in 2013 and wed on New Years Day, just six months after announcing their engagement in July 2015.
