The callous driver who killed a 19-year-old aspiring soccer star in a horror hit-and-run returned to the scene before speeding away just 11 minutes later.
Shocking CCTV footage shows the truck that ran down Natasha Gadd in Milperra, in Sydney’s south west, on Sunday morning came back – only to leave her to die for a second time.
Police say the chilling video proves the driver knew they had hit the young girl.
Miss Gadd had been heading home after a night out to celebrate a friend’s birthday when she was hit.
She had just caught the bus from the city and was walking a short distance home with friends when she was clipped by a white ute.
CCTV footage, captured from the back gate of a nearby home, has emerged showing the car doubled back to the area a short time after hitting Miss Gadd, before speeding off once again.
‘The ute did go back past the area approximately 11 minutes after the crash so they would have known they hit the young girl and left her there,’ Detective Inspector Katie Orr said.
She urged the offender to present themselves to police: ‘We have a number of witnesses and CCTV, so we urge you to hand yourself in before we come knocking on the door.’

Natasha Gadd, 19, died after she was hit by a ute in Milperra, Sydney’s south-west, about 4.30am on Sunday
Miss Gadd’s mother, Charmain Gadd, couldn’t fathom how someone could knowingly leave her daughter on the side of the road after hitting her with their car.
‘To hit someone and come back have a look and still keep driving…it’s sort of like they left her to die twice,’ she told the Daily Telegraph.
‘I hope whoever (did this) hands themselves in,’ she said.
Mrs Gadd said the death of her daughter still hadn’t sunk in and Sunday night would be the first of many sleepless nights ahead.

‘Come forward you coward, and face what you did. We won’t let them get away with this.’
