A 46-year-old man has died after being fatally gored by a bull during a Spanish festival.
The victim, only named as Amadeo A.C., was participating in a bull run at the Bous al Carrer festival in the town of Pucol, in the eastern Spanish region of Valencia, when he was cornered by one of the animals.
Video footage filmed by a bystander in a nearby house, shows Amadeo and several other participants running away from a bull in a street.

He takes refuge in a doorway but the bull scrapes him out with its horns.
The animal proceeds to gore and trample him in the street, ignoring the efforts of other men trying to distract it.
By the time the bull ran off, Amadeo had been seriously injured and was rushed by ambulance to the nearby Port of Sagunto Hospital.

The father-of-two was then was transferred to the Hospital Clinico de Valencia half an hour away because of the seriousness of his condition.

However, he died shortly after arriving, the Civil Guard said.
The City Council has announced that next Sunday will be an official day of mourning in memory of him.
According to local media, Amadeo was keen bullfighting and bull running fan, and the celebrations have been suspended as a mark of respect.
A bull run is a Spanish tradition associated with bullfighting and used to take place when the animals had to be transported to the arena.
Normally six bulls are released in a cordoned off area of a town, and participants show their ‘bravery’ by running in front of – and harassing – the animals.
