Will And Grace cast look as close as ever as return comedy

They are reunited on the television screen on Thursday after an 11 year absence.

And the cast of Will And Grace were all smiles as they appeared at Sirius XM’s studios in NYC on Monday.

The stars – Sean Hayes, Megan Mullally, Debra Messing and Eric McCormack – looked to have barely aged since they were last on NBC together in May 2006.

Back together: The cast of Will And Grace were all smiles as they appeared at Sirius XM’s studios in NYC on Monday

Messing, 49 – who plays Grace – looked elegant in an all-black ensemble as she flashed her shapely ankles.

Her trademark auburn tresses were styled in loose waves, and she added a slick of red lipstick to her radiant smile.

McCormack, 54, who plays Will, looked stylish in indigo jeans which he teamed with brown leather brogues.

The chemistry between the two seems as dynamic as ever, as they fell about laughing during the Q&A with Andy Cohen.

Mullally, 58, who stars as Karen, chose a rose pattern blazer with a pink pussy bow shirt.

Her hair was worn half up as she sipped on a coffee.

After the SiriusXM interview, the fabulous foursome made their way to the Today show where a beleaguered Megyn Kelly had an uncomfortable interaction with a Will & Grace superfan.

Her questions to the cast of ‘Will & Grace’ were shockingly banal and had all been asked and answered by the actors countless times before in the 10 months since they reunited to film a short video in support of Hillary Clinton ahead of the election last year.

That segment then ended on an incredibly awkward note after a gay superfan, Russell Turner, briefly joined the group on stage for some hugs with the cast and a minute-log interview with Megyn.

Turner then headed back into the audience as Megyn told him that ‘the gay thing will work out great.’

Social media soon lit up with individuals weighing in on Megyn’s choice of words and decision to refer to Turner’s homosexuality as ‘the gay thing.’

‘Megyn Kelly is every mom trying waaaaay to hard to “relate” to her gay son but instead just makes it waaaaay worse, wrote Will Kellogg.

‘”I think the Will & Grace thing and the gay thing are going to work out great,” Megyn Kelly said to a gay W&G superfan this morning. Really,’ commented Kevin Fallon.

In a subsequent tweet he described the moment by stating: ‘It is what it looks like to watch $15 million set on fire in real time.’

And Josh Scheer wrote: ‘I think the “gay thing” is probably gonna work out a lot better than @MegynKelly’s ” @Today thing.’

The brief interview with Rusell began with Megyn asking if it was true that he became both a lawyer and gay because of the show and its leading man, played by actor Eric McCormack.

Turner jokingly affirmed that was in fact the case, while also kindly providing a bit of color and humor to the polar question by adding that Will had the perfect ‘trifecta’ in that he was gay, a lawyer and had the ‘best apartment in New York City.’

He was then tossed back into the audience after his one question, with Megyn sending him off by stating: ‘I don’t know about the lawyer thing. But I think the “Will & Grace” thing and the gay thing will work out great.’

Meanwhile, early reviews are in for the reboot and they are overwhelmingly positive.

NBC released three episodes online ahead of the season premiere on Thursday, and critics have been blown over.

TVline’s Charlie Mason wrote: ‘As you’d expect, the political commentary is on point, savage and funny as hell.’

IndieWire’s Ben Travers explained: ‘Will & Grace is nothing like other, lazy revivals. It’s here on its own terms and quickly proves there’s nothing to fear from these very funny folks.’

And Broadway World’s Emily Bruno said: ‘The performances are just as amazing as they were. Eric McCormack (Will) and Debra Messing (Grace) are the same basically-married best friend pair we know and love. Megan Mullally (Karen) can still play ditzy very well, making the most cringeworthy moments funny. However, Sean Hayes (Jack) is the performance that cannot be beat.’

Will And Grace returns to NBC on Thursday at 9/8c.
