Nick Cannon was seen stepping out in public for the first time on Friday, after the tragic news of his late son Zen, died of a brain tumor last weekend.
The 41-year-old TV personality looked glassy-eyed as he left a building in Los Angeles in a black jacket and matching mask and hat on Friday.
He has been continuing to film his his syndicated talk show Nick Cannon Show as he deals with his grief, which has has shared with fans and viewers.

The sighting comes just a day after Nick revealed a tattoo of his five-month-old son depicted as an angel on his left rib cage, on the Friday episode of his show.
Cannon shared his seventh and youngest child with former model flame Alyssa Scott, 28, and had revealed the terrible news of the infant’s passing on Tuesday December 7.
Cannon’s tattoo showed his tiny son with a halo, wings and a sash that read ‘Zen.’

He revealed his latest inking by first showing off a framed photo of it as his ‘pic of the day,’ before sharing it was actually a snap of his ribcage.
‘I got the opportunity to actually go and get a tattoo of my son Zen as angel on my rib,’ he told his New York studio audience. ‘I’m still all bandaged up and it hurts, right here, right now,’ he shared.
The Masked Singer host said the portrait took around five-and-a-half hours to do: ‘It was a lot of pain but it was so well worth it.’

From there he rolled a video of him at the tattoo parlor which showed the process from conception, to stencil, to it being placed on his body.
Nick had emotionally shared earlier this week that he and Scott’s son Zen passed away on Sunday, December 5 following a battle with brain cancer.
‘Today is a special one y’all for many reasons but it’s not gonna be an easy one. I haven’t even shared this with anybody, not even the crew,’ Cannon began before revealing the news of Zen’s death. ‘I had a very tough weekend.’

Teary-eyed and choked up, he told his studio audience on December 7 that Zen died after previously suffering from hydrocephalus — a condition where fluid builds up in the cavities of the brain causing the head to increase in size and ultimately putting pressure on the brain.
Cannon said that the tumor developed quickly around Thanksgiving and that he spent an emotional last weekend with both Zen and Alyssa in Orange County, California where he held him by the beach.
He explained on the show that issues with his infant — born in June — first began when he was about two-months-old as they noticed his head seemed large and they also thought he had a sinus issue.
‘We didn’t think anything of it. But I wanted to take him to the doctor for his sinus and breathing. We thought it would be routine.’

Following the check-up Zen underwent brain surgery and a shunt was placed to help drain the fluid down, but things ultimately took a toll for the worst.
‘I’m here to show that I can fight through this, I’m feeling it, I’m vulnerable, I’m open,’ he said, and continued to film the next day.
‘I’m grieving. I feel guilty for so many levels. I never wanted to exploit this. I kept it private for so long since I found out about Zen’s diagnosis in respect to his mother Alyssa and to everyone in our family,’ he shared on December 8.
Zen was the fourth of Nick’s children born within the past year and a half, additionally welcoming twins Zillion and Zion born in June with current partner Abby de la Rosa, and daughter Powerful in December 2020 with Brittany Bell.
