Rita Ora is gearing up for double duty as host and performer of the 2017 MTV Europe Music Awards.
The ceremony will take place on November 12 at The SSE Arena in Wembley, London, United Kingdom.
‘I’m so excited to be hosting this year’s MTV EMAs in my hometown,’ she told The Hollywood Reporter.

Ora is the first singer announced to perform at the event which will surely boast many more A-list musicians.
She is currently riding off of the success of her long-awaited comeback single Your Song, which was penned by Ed Sheeran.
Speaking to THR about what fans can expect from her hosting gig, she said ‘a lot of inappropriate jokes.’

Ora previously performed at the event in 2012 and attended the following year.
‘I still remember how much fun my first EMAs was in Frankfurt in 2012, when I performed RIP I can’t wait to get back on the stage to host and perform’, she said.
Discussing if she’d get political during the show, she said: ‘We plan to bring a form of spirit and hope into a music awards show, especially being in London. There are a lot of things that have happened this year, and it’s really important to just be proud of where you are from.’

More performers and presenters for the show will be announced at a later date.
The singer, born Rita Sahatçiu, has had plenty of experience with fronting productions, recently serving as host for American reality TV shows America’s Next Top Model and Boy Band.
Rita, who recently attended London Fashion Week will surely put on a stylish display at the annual ceremony.
