Bindi Irwin promotes Australia Zoo’s Crikey! Magazine 

She’s the wildlife warrior following in her late father Steve Irwin’s footsteps.

And Bindi Irwin took to Instagram on Thursday to promote Australia Zoo’s latest issue of Crikey! Magazine.

The 19-year-old plugged the magazine to her 1.5 million followers, writing: ‘You’ll see lots of wonderful stories and behind the scenes photos from our adventures.’

The quarterly publication is aptly named after Steve’s famous catch-cry and was first published in March 2007.

‘Our brand new issue of Crikey! Magazine is out now. Check out the link in my bio to get your copy,’ she said.

In the accompanying video, Bindi thanked fans for ordering and reading the publication: ‘To keep up with all of wildlife warriors and Australia Zoo adventures, thank you so much for changing the world and being a wildlife warrior. We really appreciate your support!’

The magazine is sold for $7.95, with the option of purchasing a 12-month subscription.

A spokesperson from Australia Zoo told Daily Mail Australia: ‘Money raised is the same as ticket admission from the Zoo, with a portion contributing to wildlife conservation through Australia Zoo Wildlife Warriors charity and their various projects.’

The magazine contains great wildlife photos, posters, conservation editorial and interviews, as well as updates from Australia Zoo and Wildlife Warriors, animal profiles and exclusive contributions by Bindi, brother Robert and mother Terri.

Bindi’s younger brother, 13-year-old Robert also contributes regularly to the magazine, with his award-winning photography featured in every issue.

In 2016, Robert was named junior runner-up in the Australian Geographic Nature Photographer of Year competition for his photo of a crocodile’s ‘toothy grin.’

He has also won the Wondai Regional Art Gallery Peoples Choice Award and been shortlisted twice in the Wildlife Photographer of the Year Competition.

The TV personality and conservation wildlife warrior has also previously judged the National Geographic Kids Photo Contest.
