A good Samaritan who tried to stop a domestic dispute at a mall has been bashed and robbed instead.
The 27-year-old shopper came across the altercation between a man and a woman at about 4.20pm in Westfield Southland, Melbourne on September 21.
Her noble intentions were marred when the couple ran away with her iPhone and wallet worth about $2,500, the Leader reports.

Police have slammed the perpetrators and have labelled the incident as a ‘cowardly attack.’
‘It’s just a cowardly attack on somebody who was looking to do the right thing,’ Kingston Crime Investigation Unit Senior Sergeant Shane Cashman said.
‘She had the courage to intervene with what looked to be domestic assault,’ he said.
