The Robertson Family Roof Garden, which features flower beds and benches, gives patients and their families a space to relax during their hospital stays.

For the occasion the Queen wore a blue dress coat which featured a turquoise trim and was finished with a brooch on her shoulder.

She accessoried with a matching hat with a navy flower, black handbag and classic leather shoes.

During the visit she was given a pink posy which contrasted beautifully with the colour of her ensemble.
