A 50-year-old man who is accused of sexually assaulting a three-year-old girl at Perisher ski resort was charged on Friday over a separate alleged incident with a girl, 10.
David Carl Ewen was released from Silverwater Jail on Thursday under strict conditions after his family posted a $200,000 surety – weeks after he was arrested for allegedly touching the toddler between her legs.
Less than 24 hours after he was bailed out, the father-of-three was arrested once again on Friday morning and taken into police custody from Sydney’s north shore suburb of Roseville.
After being interviewed, Ewen was charged with one count of aggravated indecent assault for the latest allegation, which police say involved a 10-year-old girl in 2008, Nine News reports.

The family of the girl initially reported the incident to authorities but decided not to press charges against the man. They have since recanted their decision.
The mother of the three-year-old girl allegedly saw Ewen put his hands between her legs, near her thighs, while she was sitting on a couch at the Perisher Valley guesthouse on July 15.
As part of his strict bail conditions, Ewen, is not to enter Chalet Sonnenhof, in the Snowy Mountains region and must remain at his Sydney north shore home.

He also may not to be in the presence of any children under the age of 16, and must surrender all passports and report daily to Chatswood Police Station.
Ewen is also subject to strict curfews and ongoing treatment with therapy and medication.
Bail was denied at his last court appearance on August 17 after police claimed there could be more victims.
His lawyer AJ Karim argued the crown’s case was ‘inherently flawed’ and is based on ‘unreliable’ evidence from the girl and her mother.

Mr Karim told the court the three-year-old’s mother asked her husband to check on the girl instead of immediately rushing to her aid.
‘Why would you inquire as to everything being okay if you had observed your daughter being indecently assaulted?’ he said.
Ten days later the girl told her mother she’d been sexually assaulted, he told the court.
The girl claimed a man who wasn’t wearing pants had orally assaulted her on a stairwell near the guesthouse reception area, Mr Karim said.

Mr Karim told the court ‘it is not unnatural for kids to fantasise’ and ‘lie all the time.’
The prosecutor told the court that even though the girl was only three, she gave a clear account of what allegedly happened and a good description of the man who reportedly assaulted her.
She also said the mother’s reaction was not unreasonable.
Magistrate Sharon Freund said it ‘is not an overwhelmingly strong case but it is a strong crown case.’
Ewen will next appear in the Downing Centre Local Court on October 9.
