Marilyn Manson is crushed by a falling prop

Marilyn Manson has been crushed by a falling prop at his New York City concert. 

The 48-year-old rock star was in the middle of singing Sweet Dreams when the props, described by witnesses as giant pistols, fell. 

As of 10.15pm, Manson was still being treated onstage at the Manhattan Center Hammerstein Ballroom by emergency services who rushed on when the props fell.

His condition is not known. More information is to come. 

As expected, the concert has been canceled.
