Police swarmed the University of Southern California on Monday afternoon following reports of an active shooter.
USC had issued an alert to students and staff urging them to stay away from the 610 Childs Way on the University Park Campus or take shelter at about 12.30pm.
The school said they were investigating a ‘threat or danger to the USC community’.

The LAPD later confirmed there was no evidence of a shooting at the university.
Officers said they had conducted a systematic search of the building as a precaution.
‘No danger to community,’ LAPD officers tweeted about 30 minutes after they first responded.
Police were spotted surround the Fertitta Hall at the Marshall School of Business as students were being evacuated.
