A motorbike rider had a terrifying brush with death when a high-speed train hurtled through a level crossing in India as he tried to cross.
CCTV footage filmed in Mumbai on February 12, shows the motorcyclist spotting the express train at the last moment.
He managed to jump clear of the bike moments before it was destroyed by the locomotive.
As he rolled out of the way, the motorbike was completely obliterated by the speeding Raidhani Express.

Several pedestrians and motorcyclists had stopped at the crossing but the motorcyclist apparently thought he had enough time to cross before the train arrived.
However, as he started to cross the CCTV shows his motorcycle’s brake light coming on, before the man looked to the left.
He stopped, and jumped clear of the bike as the train sped into shot.
The train smashed into the front of the bike, sending the remains spinning but did not appear to slow down.
The man, having avoided being struck by the train, returned to his feet and walked back across the empty rails, away from the speeding train.
Footage of Saturday’s incident has been shared widely on the internet.
One viewer said the motorcyclist ‘must be in a hurry to meet God’.
Others suggested the level crossing should have been protected by a guard.
After a few seconds, the man got back to his feet, leaving the remains of his bike between two sets of tracks
