Juice Jnr: It was business as usual for Arnelle Simpson, 48, who was spotted in Las Vegas on Monday, unloading her shopping. The daughter of OJ seemed to be stocking up for her famous father

Dressed in a black tank top and khaki pants Arnelle shielded her eyes from the sun with a some shades.

Sporting a pair of sandals as she shopped, the daughter of the former NFL star who gained his highly publicized parole this week, stocked up on dog food, as well as fresh fruit and veg.

Throwing a her handbag over her shoulder casually, Arnelle kept it natural with a makeup free look, tying her hair back into a ponytail.

Arnelle, who has one full brother, Jason, 47, spoke passionately at her father’s court trial previously.

OJ, who famously was acquitted of the murder of his wife Nicole Brown Simpson and friend Ron Goldman who were both found stabbed to death in her apartment, was sent back to prison in 2008 on a separate conviction.

He was convicted of an armed robbery involving two sports memorabilia dealers in a Las Vegas hotel room.

The former football player was convicted of enlisting some men he barely knew, including two who had guns, to retrieve from two sports collectibles sellers some items that Simpson said were stolen from him a decade earlier.

Arnelle had another sibling Aaren, who died in August 1979 as an infant when he drowned in the family’s swimming pool.

Speaking at the parole hearing, urging authorities to release her father early from a 33-year sentence, she admitted her father was imperfect but that he was trying to be a better person.

She said: ‘No one really knows how much we have been through, this ordeal in the last nine years… My experience with him is that he’s like my best friend and my rock.

‘And as a family, we recognize that he is not the perfect man, but he is clearly a man and a father who has done his best to behave in a way that speaks to his overall nature and character, which is always to be positive no matter what.’

While her shopping haul included a sizable bag of dog food. It’s unlikely that the other items were for her pop, however, as under the terms of his probation he can’t leave Nevada without permission from the Nevada Division of Parole and Probation.

If Simpson is planning to settle down in Florida it won’t happen any time soon; State Parole and Probation Captain Shawn Arruti says Simpson plans to live in Nevada for the foreseeable future.

He said Simpson only has one approved home, and that’s in the Las Vegas area – though the exact location hasn’t been confirmed for security reasons.

Other details of Simpson’s probation – which will end in exactly five years, but could be shorter if Simpson displays good behavior, pays his fees and fines on time and studies or works ‘diligently’ – have also emerged.

Every month he must write a report about his activities to officials, and he cannot associated with convicted felons or anyone engaged in criminal activity. His parole officer is also allowed to prohibit him from associating with anyone else.

He also needs to submit to blood or urine tests whenever his probation officer demands – to check for illegal drugs, illegally obtained prescription drugs or alcohol levels higher than .08, which is the legal limit for driving in Nevada.

OJ won’t even be able to smoke marijuana in states where the drug is legal. And, of course, he is prohibiting from possessing or using weapons unless they are needed for a job, with prior agreement from the parole board.

In 2013, during a parole hearing OJ said: ‘My crime was trying to retrieve for my family my own property,’ Simpson told the parole officials in 2013 before apologizing.

‘Make no mistake, I would give it all back,’ he said, ‘to get these last five years back.’

The robbery was a new low for Simpson, whose celebrity spanned sports, movies, television and advertising before his fall from grace during his highly-publicized murder trial in 1995.’

Reporters caught up with OJ just hours after his release. He was sat in the back of an SUV having been driven for hours to a secret halfway location.

‘Man, how in the world – have y’all been stalking me?’ he asked with a chuckle.

Declining to say where he was headed, Simpson continued: ‘I been in nowhere USA for the last nine years doing nothing. Nothing has changed in my life! What do you guys – I mean, what do you guys expect? There’s nothing changed.

‘God bless, take care, you guys,’ he concluded. ‘Nothing’s changed!’

Simpson, now 70, was sentenced to 33 years in prison in 2008 for robbing a pair of sports memorabilia traders in a Las Vegas hotel room, but won parole in July due to good behavior and other credits earned in custody.
