They’re two of the biggest personalities on The Block.
And during Tuesday night’s episode Ronnie and Jason came close to blows, with Ronnie accusing Jason of ‘blackmail’ while trying to get his pool installed.
‘I am giving you f*** all – this pool has turned into a money pit,’ a frustrated Ronnie told a smug Jason.
‘I am giving you f*** all!’ Ronnie accuses Jason of ‘blackmailing’ him and is forced to pay $10,000 to get pool installation access during explosive showdown on The Block
On Monday night’s episode, Ronnie and Georgia had negotiated to pay their neighbours to allow crane access into their backyard to install their pool.
‘It’s obvious me and Georgia don’t have any friends left on The Block,’ Ronnie said. ‘That hurt, that cut deep actually.’
The couple would pay neighbours Jason and Sarah, Hannah and Clint $7500 each to keep their backyards clear until midday, and a $500 penalty every hour after that.
Getting cash: On Monday night’s episode, Ronnie and Georgia had negotiated to pay their neighbours to allow crane access into their backyard to install their pool
Pricey: The couple would pay neighbours Jason and Sarah, Hannah and Clint $7500 each to keep their backyards clear until midday, and a $500 penalty every hour after that
But things hit a snag when it soon became clear that Ronnie and Georgia’s pool wouldn’t be installed by 12pm.
To make matters worse, they needed a second crane to do the installation, which would need to be stationed on Jason and Sarah’s front lawn.
Already annoyed the installation was taking longer than first promised, Jason refused to allow the use of his lawn unless they paid an extra $2500.
Tried to reason: Ronnie made one last attempt to try and persuade Jason
‘If you want to take my front yard go get your checkbook’: Already annoyed the installation was taking longer than first promised, Jason refused to allow the use of his lawn unless they paid an extra $2500
‘I think we have already fully accommodated you.. if you want to take my front yard go get your checkbook,’ Jason told Ronnie.
Furious, Georgia and Ronnie fumed to each other about their neighbours’ demands, begging Keith and Dan to intervene.
‘They have got us by the balls,’ Ronnie said.
‘We are not paying them anymore that’s bulls**t,’ Georgia added. ‘They’re dead to me, they’re done … they’re just a***holes.’

Show me the money: During the day Jason continued to gloat and taunt Ronnie and Georgia
After Keith and Dan failed to get Jason to agree to let Ronnie and Georgia use his front yard for free, Ronnie made one last attempt to try and persuade Jason.
But he wasn’t budging, smugly replying: ‘If you want to put a crane in my front yard, it’s $2500.
‘If you don’t have it then you are not putting a crane there. It’s a competition Ronnie, you reminded me so well last night that it is a competition,’ Jason added, patting Ronnie condescendingly on the arm.
‘If you want to put a crane in my front yard, it’s $2500’: Jason wouldn’t budge from his steep asking price
Oops: Ronnie and Georgia were soon left red-faced and reaching into their pockets again when six hours behind schedule they realised the wouldn’t be able to install the pool that day
Furious, Ronnie shoved Jason’s hand away, yelling: Don’t ever touch me again, do you understand that … you should take 10 bucks you don’t have any money.’
‘Enjoy swimming in the mud,’ Jason replied.
Realising he wouldn’t budge, Ronnie angrily agreed to Jason’s ‘blackmail’, but warned him ‘the money tree is being cut down’ after that payment.
But Ronnie and Georgia were soon left red-faced and reaching into their pockets again when six hours behind schedule they realised the wouldn’t be able to install the pool that day – because their measurements were 100mm off.
Not happy: Ronnie angrily agreed to Jason’s ‘blackmail’, but warned him ‘the money tree is being cut down’ after that payment
The couple were forced to beg their neighbours to let them use use their yards again the next day – but promised it would only be for an hour.
Clint, Hannah, Sarah and Jason were furious at the news, and told Ronnie and Georgia they weren’t sure they would agree to let them access their land a second day.
‘If it blows out past nine o clock tomorrow we are f***ed!’ Hannah told Ronnie and Georgia.
Undecided: Sarah and Jason were furious at the news, and told Ronnie and Georgia they weren’t sure they would agree to let them access their land a second day.
