He was impressed by her work ethic but also heard her complaints that after eight years with the company, she was still on minimum wage, was losing hours and had no indication of any promotion in her future.

She also revealed that she was struggling for cash to such an extent that she and her fiance had given up on hoped for their dream wedding and were just planning to tie the know at City Hall.

After Dushey finally revealed his true identity on the show, he decided to reward Singh’s hard work with extra hours, a $15,000 bonus and something even bigger.

‘I want to give you another $20,000 check so you can go make yourself the big beautiful wedding you deserve,’ he told her on the show.

Singh was delighted and soon began planning the special day she had always wanted.

She quickly found the wedding hall, a stunning wedding dress, entertainment, photographers, and more to create a beautiful and memorable day.

The costs quickly ran up, but Singh was able to come in with a grand total of $20,000.

But that’s where the trouble began.

The bride-to-be says told Pix 11 she submitted all the necessary invoices to Shoppers World for Dushey to honor his pledge.

Yet she says the company and Dushey has failed to pay and had ignored her requests altogether.

Shoppers World insist they are happy to pay but dispute Singh’s claims, saying she had never submitted the wedding invoices.

‘As it relates to the additional pledge of $20,000 for Nalini Singh’s then-upcoming wedding, we asked her on several occasions to submit invoices or receipts for reimbursement or connect us with her vendors so that we could pay them directly for her expenses, all of which she refused to do, asking instead that we pay the full amount to a family member.

‘This is a standard company policy when handling expenses related to associates. Had Ms. Singh produced invoices, receipts or connected us with her vendors directly, we would have paid the fees associated with her wedding in a timely manner as well.’

Dushey has not responded to the DailyMail.com’s request for comment.

But Singh insists she has jumped through every hoop and says she’s disappointed.

‘I should have known it was too good to be true,’ she said.

CBS sent us a statement said: ‘We are not privy to all of the issues involved in this dispute. However, unless there are extenuating circumstances, we expect the companies to fulfill what they agreed to in the show.’
