Liverpool have been forced into a late change to their starting line-up for this afternoon’s Carabao Cup final, with Thiago Alcantara injured in the warm-up.
The Spaniard has been replaced in the Reds’ XI by Naby Keita, with 18-year-old Harvey Elliott taking a spot on the substitutes’ bench as a result.

Speaking on Sky Sports, Jamie Carragher said that the midfielder’s injury put the game back in the balance.
‘Small details,’ Carragher said on what will decide the winner of the final. ‘The tiniest thing will decide, there’s no doubt. I think with Thiago out, it’s a 50-50 game now.’
