SAG Awards worst-dressed list: barely-there gowns, unflattering ensembles, fashion fails

The 28th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards is taking place on Sunday, February 27 at the at the Barker Hanger in Santa Monica, California. 

The event – which will see presenters like Lady Gaga, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Kate Winslet take the stage throughout the night – kicked off with a star-studded red carpet, where many celebrities showed up in stunning gowns and extravagant looks.

However, some of Hollywood’s biggest names completely missed the mark with their looks – including Shari Belafonte, who had a total fashion fail in a bright pink shirt and pants combo, metallic sneakers, and a long scarf, which she draped over her shoulder. She also donned a big, silver, lion broach.

But The Midnight Hour star was by no means the only celebrity whose look flopped at this year’s awards, as there were a slew of fashion fails. 

Jackie Hoffman made a questionable style choice in a leopard print, orange gown. She paired the look with a frumpy black purse and casual shoes, which appeared to be more fitting for a trip to the beach.

Jennifer Landon also donned an eye-popping look and a bright and floral pants suit.

Canadian actress Amanda Brugel was seen in a white, oversized dress which fit quite awkwardly on her frame.

Victoria Tate’s pink gown looked like it needed a good ironing. TV host Naz Perez, on the other hand, put on a risky display in dress which had a slit so high she almost flashed the photographers. 

Madeline Brewer wore a black skirt and a bizzare top, which had many different straps and tassels hanging off of it.

Ariana DeBose’s dress contained a very large and awkward piece of fabric on the side, which made the whole look unflattering.
