This is the horrifying moment a paratrooper plummets to his death when his chute fails to open during training exercise in Russia.

But among them a 28-year-old soldier hurls 2,500ft to the ground as his white parachute fails to fully unfurl.

The unnamed paratrooper then crashes to the ground as the cameraman gasps and runs towards him.
A special commission from the military unit and state prosecution are now investigating the incident.
They will focus on why the soldier did not pull a back-up safety chute as he fell.
The video has been shared widely online. One viewer wrote: ‘Poor guy. This video gives me goose bumps. It seems he understood what was going on’.
