The stars are out for the 2022 National Board of Review Awards Gala
Morena Baccarin and her husband Ben McKenzie were among the celebrities who walked the red carpet ahead of the event held at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City.
Since being established in 1909, The NBR has dedicated its efforts to the support of cinema as both art and entertainment, according to its website.
For this go-around, 221 films were viewed by a select group of film enthusiasts, filmmakers, young professionals, academics, and students, many of which were then discussed with directors, actors, producers, and screenwriters before announcing their selections.

Baccarin, 42, dazzled when she stepped in front of photographers in a silver gown that was perfectly matched with a pair of open-toe heels.
The shimmering number lit up under the bright lights of the red carpet.
On this night, The Endgame star had her raven locks pulled into a bun, which helped showcase her dangling blingy earrings.
McKenzie, 43, stepped out in a charcoal-patterned suit that was matched with a white dress shirt, which he left unbuttoned and without a tie, and black dress shoes.

Baccarin currently stars as Elena Federova in the NBC series The Endgame.
The crime drama thriller, which also includes Ryan Michelle Bathé, Costa Ronin and Jordan Johnson-Hinds, among others, made its premiere on February 21.
Just last month, Baccarin’s latest film, Last Looks, made its premiere. The cast for the mystery thriller also includes Mel Gibson, Charlie Hunnam, Lucy Fry, Rupert Friend, Dominic Monaghan, Jacob Scipio and Clancy Brown.
McKenzie is best known to many fans for his TV roles in The O.C. (2003-2007), Southland (2009-2013) and Gotham (2014-2019).

Throughout the last 30 years, the winner of the Best Picture award at the National Board of Review Awards has gone on to receive an Oscar nomination every year except for three times.
